This stunning hugely collectable 911 40th Anniversary Edition is an iconic piece of Porsche history. A rare limited edition model of which just 1963 examples were produced with less than 200 being RHD this being build no.180. The 40th Anniversary model or 40 Jahre 911/40 Fast Years was launched to commemorate 40 years of the 911 first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1963 (hence the number of Anniversary’s produced). All 40th Anniversary models were Carrera 2 Manuals with a Turbo front bumper (albeit with colour coded grilles and C4S splitter) and bigger sill trims,Importantly they had the high output X51 power pack producing 345bhp,They also had factory fitted lowered (-10mm) Sports suspension and PSM (Porsche Stability Management) with a modified differential giving increased rear traction,All the cars were finished in metallic GT Silver which was previously unique to the awesome Carrera GT and had soft Dark Grey (essentially black) natural leather heated electric seats,18″ polished finish Carrera alloy wheels,Electric sunroof,Bi-Xenon headlamps with dynamic beam control and headlamp cleaning,Multi function trip computer with check control,PAS,ABS,Full GT Silver interior pack,center console,handbrake,door handles,instrument dials,sill entry guards with 911 insignia and also unique leather sports steering wheel and gear knob,Stainless steel exhaust system with high gloss polished tailpipes and to finish off the detailing all Anniversary models had a silver numbered plaque inside the car and a badge on the engine compartment cover denoting ‘911 40 Jahre’!

No expense has been spared! In the last 4 years £13'000 has been spent to make this car great for another 20 years.

In 2020 (73428 miles) I replaced the starter motor and starter cable from block to starter motor and alternator - Total cost £1303
In 2020 (73628 miles) there was a major service and both rear exhaust (sport switchable) mufflers were replaced - Total cost for this invoice £4062.
in 2020 (73628 miles) I renewed the water pump to the upgraded version - Total cost £450
In 2021 (73940 miles) I replaced brake discs and pads, complete brake pipes front to rear N/S, the IMS bearing modified ceramic kit, the clutch, and cooling radiator, and the alternator - Total cost £6661
In 2022 (75209) Service Completed - Total cost £431
I have also had the air conditioning radiators replaced and servcied.
All the above work was completed by Welsh Porsche Specialist (Paul Welch) of Cardiff.

This work is in addition and including services @ 15'633 miles, 23'843 miles, 55'207 miles, 62'789 miles, 69'741 miles, 72'725 miles, 73'940 miles, and 75209 miles.

You may find lower priced anniversary editions on line, however this one has the benefit of all the work above ensuring the best possible peace of mind going forawrd. I am advertising this car through my dealership however it is my personal vehicle and the sale, with any inspection welcome, being sold on a private sale basis. I may consider a part exchange.
